SGT. 1ST CLASS RYAN B. SCOTT

SFC Ryan B. Scott hails from Moweaqua, IL. He enlisted in the Army in February of 2010 out of St. Louis, MO. He completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Benning, Georgia and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gordon, Georgia to become a 25U – Signal Support Systems Specialist He reclassed to 25E – Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager in 2018.
SFC Scott’s assignments include 92nd Military Police Company, Baumholder, Germany, 2-327 Infantry Battalion (No Slack), Fort Campbell, KY,  2-3 Infantry Regiment (Patriots), Joint Base Lewis – McChord, WA, 51st Expeditionary Signal Battalion, Joint Base Lewis – McChord, WA, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, KS, 442nd Signal Battalion, Signal Leaders Development College, Fort Gordon, GA. SFC Scott has deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 2013-2014 and in support of Operation Inherent Resolve 2021-2022.
SFC Scott’s duty positions include: Information Management Officer (IMO), Communications Specialist, Senior Radio Telephone Operator, Senior Retransmission Team Leader, Theatre Spectrum Manager, KMI Operating Account Manager, and Instructor/Writer.
SFC Scott’s military education includes Senior Leader Course, COMSEC Account Manager Course, Signal Digital Master Gunner Master Course, Sharp Foundation Course, Unit Deterrence Leader Course, Army Basic Instructor Course, Advanced Leader Course (Distinguished Honor Graduate), and Basic Leader Course. SFC Scott has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management from American Military University and is working toward a Master of Science in Data Analytics.
SFC Scott’s awards and decorations include: Army Commendation Medal (4th award), Army Achievement Medal (3rd award), Army Good Conduct Medal (5th award), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (1 Bronze Campaign Star) Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 3), Humanitarian Service Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award), NATO Medal.
SFC Scott is married to Kayla Scott, and has four children Alivia (11), Ava (9), Gabriella (9) and Saydee (6).
