Master Sgt. Shelia White

Deputy Commandant, NCOA

Master Sergeant Sheila D. White is a native of Queens, New York, enlisted in the Army in May 2003. She attended Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gordon, Georgia, where she graduated as an Information Technology Specialist (25B).

Master Sergeant White has held a variety of positions throughout her career to include Team Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Brigade S6 NCOIC, Battalion S-6 NCOIC, Brigade Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO) NCOIC, Cyber Security NCOIC, Equal Opportunity Advisor, First Sergeant and currently serves as Deputy Commandant of the Cyber Center of Excellence NCOA, Fort Gordon, GA. MSG Whites' stateside tours have included HHB 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Fort Bliss, Texas, HHC 123rd Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss Texas and 7th Signal Command (Theater), Fort Gordon Georgia. MSG Whites' overseas assignment was at HHC 516th Signal Brigade, Fort Shafter, Hawaii.

She has deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan on a Security Forces Advisory Team.

MSG White's military education include Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC) (Commandants List), Advanced Leader Course (ALC), (Leadership Award and Honor Graduate), Senior Leader Course (SLC), (Honor Graduate), Battle Staff NCO Course, First Sergeants Course, Equal Opportunity Advisor Course (Commandants List), and the Master Resilience Training Course. Her civilian education include a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the City University of New York Baruch College with Cum Laude. Certifications include CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Security + and Network +.

Master Sergeant Whites' awards include the Bronze Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2OLC), The Army Commendation Medal (4OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (6OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal 6th award, The National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, The Iraq Campaign Medal, The Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, The Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, The NCO Professional Development Ribbon with numeral 3, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon with numeral 2, and the NATO Medal.

MSG White resides in Georgia with her family.
