Sgt. 1st Class Addison J. Larios

Sergeant First Class (SFC) Larios is from Chico, California. He enlisted in the United States Army on January 3, 2012. He attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) in Fort Benning, Georgia, earning the Military Occupational Specialty Cavalry Scout. SFC Larios served as a Cavalry Scout in the 3rd Squadron 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. SFC Larios reclassified to Electronic Warfare (EW) Specialist in 2014 and went on to serve in the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne).

SFC Larios has served in many roles throughout his military career. As a Cavalry Scout, he served as a gunner and Team Leader. As an EW Specialist, SFC Larios served as a Brigade EW NCO as well as a Squadron EW NCO, where he participated in one deployment to Iraq in 2017. He has served as a Team Leader, Squad Leader, and Platoon Sergeant in one of the first Electronic Warfare Platoons in the Army. In this role, SFC Larios help to establish the baseline for other EW Platoons throughout the Army. SFC Larios has also served as a Small Group Leader and Senior Small Group Leader for the Cyber Center of Excellence Noncommissioned Officer Academy.

SFC Larios’ military education includes Senior Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Basic Leaders Course, United States Air Force Airlift Planners Course, Unit Movement Officers Course, NATO EW Operational Planners Course, Joint EW Theater Operations Course, Jumpmaster Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Information Operations Fundamentals Course, Crew Master Gunner, Army Space Cadre Course, Advanced Situational Awareness Basic Course, Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course and the Common Faculty Development- Developer Course.
SFC Larios’ awards include the Army Commendation Medal with Combat device, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal with bronze star, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Combat Action Badge, the Senior Parachutist Badge, the Army Basic Space Badge, and the Basic Army Instructor Badge.

SFC Larios is currently stationed on Fort Eisenhower, Georgia where he serves as the Deputy Branch Chief for Alpha Branch at the Cyber Center of Excellence Noncommissioned Officer Academy
