SFC Momoh, Kala enlisted into the Army from Jackson, Mississippi in April 2009.  She attended Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training in Fort Eisenhower, GA where she was awarded the military occupational specialty of 25U, Signal Support System Specialist from Charlie Company 369th Signal Battalion. She holds an Associate’s in General Studies from Hinds Community College.
 
SFC Momoh has served in numerous leadership positions from Team Leader to Section Chief. SFC Momoh’s stateside tours have included Fort Bliss, Fort Campbell, and Fort Eisenhower. SFC Momoh’s overseas assignments have been Suwon Airbase and Camp Humphreys, South Korea, Camp Novo Selo, Kosovo and Wiesbaden, Germany. She also supported Operation Enduring Freedom 11-12 at Forward Operating Base Shank, Afghanistan.
 
SFC Momoh’s military training includes Combat Life Savers Course, Warrior Leaders Course, Advance Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Equal Opportunity Course, Command Post of the Future (CPOF) Course, Mobile Retention Course, Mail Handlers Course, CompTIA Security Plus Certification Course, The United States Army Drill Sergeant Course, Master Resiliency Trainer Course, Army Couching Course, and the Common Faculty Development – Instructor Course (CFD-IC)
 
SFC Momoh’s awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal (6OLC), Army Achievement Medal (6OLC), Meritorious Unit Citation, Army Good Conduct Medal (4 knots), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (1CS), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal (1OLC), NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 3), NATO Medal, Certificate of Achievement (2), Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, Combat Action Badge, Marksmanship Qualification Badge Expert (Rifle)
 
SFC Momoh resides in Fort Eisenhower, Georgia with her family.
