Mr. Torrence L. Williams

Chief of Training

Mr. Williams enlisted in the United States Army on 12 June 1984 as a 31S (Field General COMSEC Repairer), attending Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Jackson, SC, and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at then Fort Eisenhower, Ga. ​

Mr. Williams’ military assignments include 124th Signal Battalion, Fort Carson, CO; Eighth Army, Korea; 442nd Signal Battalion, Fort Eisenhower, GA; 121st Signal Battalion, Fort Riley, KS; US Army Element Izmir, Turkey; US Army Detachment, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD; 122nd Signal Battalion, Korea; NCOA- Fort Eisenhower, GA; 73rd Ordnance Battalion, Fort Eisenhower, GA; 63rd Signal Battalion, Fort Eisenhower, GA; 556 Signal Company, Fort Eisenhower, GA. After Retiring in 2008, he served as a contractor instructor for the 94E Radio Repairer Course before becoming a DA Civilian for the same course as a Team Lead for MOS 94E10 Radio COMSEC Repairer (Supervisor Training Instructor (Electronics) GS-1712-11). His most recent assignment was as the Chief of the Training Management Office, (Supervisory Training Administrator GS-1712-12) all within the Ordnance Electronics Maintenance Training Department.

Mr. Williams has held various positions throughout his career, including COMSEC Repairer, Instructor, Small Group Leader, Drill Sergeant, Squadron Senior American NCO, Maintenance Chief, Team Lead and Chief, Training Management Office.

Mr. Williams’ military and civilian education includes Basic Instructor Course, Drill Sergeant School, The Basic and the Advance Courses within the NCO Professional Military Education. Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education from Cornerstone University/ Calvary Theological Seminary Lake Charles, LA.
