Sgt. Maj. Brian Davis

Command Sergeant Major

CSM Davis is a native of Clio, South Carolina. He enlisted into the United States Army on 04 June 2002.

CSM Davis attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Benning, Georgia and he attended Advance Individual Training at Fort Gordon, Georgia where he earned the Military Occupational Specialty 25P.

CSM Davis has served as a Microwave Systems Operator/Maintainer, Company Operations NCOIC, Electronic Maintenance Supervisor, Basic Officer Leadership II Course Instructor, Platoon Sergeant, Instructor Writer, Senior Communications Engineer Technician, SATCOM Systems Chief, White House Switchboard Operations NCOIC, Vice Presidential Communications Officer, First Sergeant, Vice-Presidential Response Officer, battalion and brigade S-3 SGM, and as the 1st Armored Division G6 SGM.

His stateside assignments include Fort Bliss, Texas; Fort Benning, Georgia; Fort Gordon, Georgia; Fort Detrick, Maryland, and the White House Communications Agency.  His overseas assignments include Camp Coiner, South Korea, Yongsan, South Korea, and Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.

CSM Davis’ military education includes the Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Tactical Instructors Course, Basic Instructors Course, Combatives Level 1, Senior Leaders Course, Air Assault Course, Airborne School, Security+, the Battle Staff Course and the Sergeants Major Academy (Class 71). His civilian education includes a Master’s of Science in Organizational Management, a Bachelor’s of Science in Technical Management, an Associate’s Degree in Computer Engineering, and the Scrum Excellence certification.

CSM Davis’ awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (3rd  Award), the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (4th Award), the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal (4th Award), Joint Meritorious Unit Award (2nd Award), the Army Good Conduct Medal (7th Award), the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Service Medal, the Humanitarian Service Ribbon, the Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon Numeral five, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon Numeral three, the Presidential Service Badge, the Vice Presidential Service Badge, the Parachutist Badge and the Air Assault Badge.
