1st Sgt. Lindsay N. Tramel-Jones

First Sergeant Lindsay N. Tramel-Jones is a native of Gastonia, North Carolina. She enlisted in the U.S. Army in October 2006 and attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, followed by Advanced Individual Training at Fort Meade, Maryland where she graduated as a Visual Information Operator and Maintainer.

1SG Tramel-Jones has served in every leadership position from Team Leader to Detachment NCOIC. 1SG Tramel-Jones' stateside tours have included Fort Liberty, North Carolina, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and Fort Meade, Maryland. She has deployed to Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom).

1SG Tramel-Jones' military education includes the Combat Lifesaver's Course, Basic Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, Master Leader Course, Combatives Level I, Battle Staff, Common Faculty Development- Developer Course, Common Faculty Development Instructor Course, Facilitators Course, Visual Information Management, Army Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Prevention Course, and the Equal Opportunity Leaders Course. Her civilian education includes a High School Diploma through Ashbrook Senior High School a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications from Johnson C. Smith University, and a Masters of Science in Public Relations from University of Maryland Global Campus.
